Although this is a tremendous feat, he had several things assisting him. 1) Straps 2) Bent bar. He actually didn’t begin “lifting” the weight until it’s almost at his knees. 3)Height of tires. The height of the tires starts the weight much higher than a regular deadlift. 4) with all this going for him his leverage was such that he pulled the weight probably less than a foot. Still strong. With all those leverage factors Kaz woulda pulled 1,400. I feel qualifed to critque. In competition over 30 years ago @275, no straps, correct bar 771 lbs. rw

@Randy, I was thinking the same thing, but, still massively impressed by the spectacle. You should post a video of the 771!

Benedikt also pulled an official 971lb off the floor

Absolutely awesome lift!!! The “haters” would do well to celebrate instead of hate………this super human might be the one saving their freakin’ life someday by lifting some heavy shit off of them in the midst of a freak accident. This is good stuff!!!

  6. Hi, I been working out at the gym for a year now. I used to weight at 195lbs and now I weight at 160lbs. But I still have a little fat belly. How can I get a great 6 abs? Please let me know? Thanks.
